2013- Challenging ,uneven due to the weather
2012 – Some believe it could be an exceptional vintage.
2011 – Average year. Pomerol & St Emilion producing the best.
2010 – Excellent year from all Bordeaux appellations.
2009 – Is the sexiest, most opulent vintage yet from the region
2008 – Take your choice from anywhere in the region
2007 – We shall not mention anything with a 7 in it
2006 – Medoc and pomerol are the guys to seek here
2005 – Brilliant vintage
2004 – An uneven vintage, but still gems to be found
2003 – Northern medoc are stunning a must for a serious cellar
2002 – Seek and you can find bargains in this vintage
2001- Right bank wines continue to improve some
2000 – Legendary
1999 – Not developing as they would have liked
1998 – Graves and pomerol and the ones to seek here
1997 – We shall not mention anything with a 7 in it
1996 – A perfect vintage for the medoc
1995 – Disappointing
1994 – Lacking charm and ripeness
1993 – Drink up if you have any from this year
1992 – Well past their prime
1991 – Forget it
1990 – One of the top vintages of the 20th century
1989 – No 1st growths this year but some great wines from pomerol
1988 – Nothing was close to stunning
1987 – Its that 7 syndrome again
1986 – Choose carefully here
1985 – The medoc and pomerol are the places to look this year
1984 – The wine hasn’t aged as well as Orwell’s novel
1983 – Fully mature, should have been consumed during the first two decades of their life
1982 – Historic
1981 – Past its prime
1980 – One to forget
1979 – Drink what you have
1978 – Drink up
1977 – Worst of the decade
1976 – Wines were good in their youth but not now
1975 – Choose carefully if at all
1974 – Whoops
1973 – Not worth purchasing today
1972 – Should be avoided unless seeking a gift for some one you dislike
1971 – Some wines from medoc are holding on to a shadow of life
1970 – Received a lot of positive press in its day
1969 – One to avoid
1968 – Huge harvest from rain soaked grapes
1967 – Well past its prime today
1966 – Some crackers here but choose carefully
1965 – Wine is rumoured to be atrocious
1964 – If you see an odd bottle and its from Pomerol its worth taking a chance
1963 – Was bad when bottled time has made it worse
1962 – Today the vintage is mostly forgotten

1958 – Faded now but were said to be decent in their youth

1946 – Has the unique distinction of being the only Bordeaux vintage that was attacked by locusts
1945 – Bordeaux wine of 45 deserves its well earned fame
